Empowering Wellbeing through Mental Health Education
Strengthen Youth Wellbeing
In today’s fast-paced and demanding environment, schools, students, and community groups face a growing range of mental health challenges that can affect everyone—from students navigating academic pressures to educators and community leaders managing increasing responsibilities.
With the rise in stressors like academic expectations, social pressures, and the impact of trauma, the need for proactive mental health support has never been more urgent. Mental Health First Aid training equips individuals with the tools and confidence to recognise early signs of mental health struggles, intervene in a supportive and compassionate manner, and guide those in need toward professional help.
By investing in this training, schools and community groups create safer, more supportive environments where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to seek the help they need. This not only improves individual wellbeing but also fosters stronger, more resilient communities.
The skills learned through Mental Health First Aid are critical in responding to the silent challenges students, educators, and community members face, ensuring that mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health.
Our People and Mission
We are a team of Teen, Youth, and Standard MHFA Facilitators with backgrounds in education, counselling, and social work. Our mission is to demonstrate that mental health is just as essential as physical health for overall wellbeing by delivering high-quality Mental Health First Aid training.
Founded by Veronica Strangio, Mind Health First is dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to lead confident and compassionate conversations about mental health. Through our evidence-based programs, we strive to foster care, understanding, and heartfulness within our communities.
Whether you’re seeking to support young people, enhance workplace wellbeing, or build stronger community connections, we provide the knowledge and tools to help you make a meaningful difference.
Together, we’re committed to creating environments where mental health is openly discussed, proactively supported, and deeply valued. By equipping youth and adults with practical skills and genuine confidence, we aim to reduce stigma and ensure that everyone—regardless of age or background—feels seen, heard, and supported.
